Kelly Clarkson, Matchbox Twenty and Bret Michaels to Perform at Muhammad Ali Fight Night: Kelly Clarkson, Matchbox Twenty and Bret Michaels will be among the artists performing at The Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night Awards. Matchbox Twenty is scheduled to perform as the opening act for the musical portion of the show, followed by performances from Kelly, Bret and 10-year-old opera singing sensation Jackie Evancho, from America’s Got Talent. The event is scheduled to be held at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona on March 19th at 6:30 p.m.
The Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night Awards is an annual charity event that raises money for the fight against Parkinson’s disease. The event acknowledges the top leaders in sports, entertainment, and business industries who best represent Muhammad Ali and his determination to find a cure for the disease from which he and others suffer. This year, awards will be given to celebrities such as Halle Berry and LPGA Champion Cristie Kerr. In the past 16 years the event has raised almost $65 million for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
